Seachtain na Gaeilge

We had so much fun during Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Everyone made a great effort to speak Gaeilge (Irish) these two weeks. Here are the Gaelgeoirí na Seachtaine who made an exceptional effort! They are joined by the Ealaíontóir na Seachtaine who won the art competition based on the Irish legend - Fionn and the Salmon of Knowledge.

We sang "Tóg Amach Mé" at the ceolchoirm (concert).

We had great fun at the ceilí. We learned an Irish dance.

We made Shamrock people for St. Patrick's Day.

Listen to the story.

We made Easter bunnies for Easter.

Grandparent's Day

We celebrated Grandparent's Day on the 31st of January.

We sang Molly Malone and said a rhyme as Gaeilge.

Thanks so much to all the grandparents who were able to visit.

What a long walk but what a great day we had!

The Maths Fair.
Thanks to Sr. Mary, Ms. Fleming, Ms Sharkey, Ms. Cleary, Ms. Redmond, Ms McKiernan and Ms Currivan for organising this.

Green Halloween.
We made our own Halloween costumes.

What fun we had last term.

We met a storyteller in the library.
